About This Journey

A rewarding day hike to the summit of Talamrout (3,980m), the second highest peak in the High Atlas.

1-Day Talamrout Summit Hike Experience the thrill of summiting Talamrout (3,980m), the second highest peak in the High Atlas Mountains, on this challenging yet rewarding day hike. Located near the popular trekking hub of Imlil, Talamrout offers a less crowded alternative to Mount Toubkal, with equally stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The hike begins with a transfer from Marrakech to Imlil, followed by a steady ascent through traditional Berber villages and alpine meadows. The route is steep and requires a good level of fitness, but the sense of accomplishment at the summit is well worth the effort. After soaking in the breathtaking vistas, you'll descend back to Imlil for a return trip to Marrakech by evening. This trek is perfect for those short on time but eager for a high-altitude adventure in Morocco's majestic mountains.
