The mountains taught me everything about guiding, hospitality, and what it means to truly share a place you love.

Born in Imlil, just 65km from Marrakech, I grew up on mountain trails and in traditional Berber villages. The rhythms of the seasons, the wisdom of my community, and the beauty of the High Atlas shaped who I became.

My father, Ibrahim, was a pioneer mountain guide. Through watching him work, I learned that real guiding is about more than routes — it's about trust, respect, and sharing the authentic Morocco that visitors come seeking.

After earning my degree in English Studies and Linguistics at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, I passed the national mountain guide examinations and earned my certification — a step that confirmed what years of walking these trails had already taught me. I founded Atlas Toubkal Trek to build something lasting: a trusted, locally rooted trekking company in the heart of the High Atlas.

Over the years, Atlas Toubkal Trek has successfully guided hundreds of trekkers from all over the world — solo adventurers, couples, and groups of all sizes — to the summit of Mount Toubkal, through the Berber valleys, and across the Sahara Desert. Every trek organized, every group that reached the summit, reinforces why this work matters.

To help our trekkers travel light, we operate a gear and equipment office right in Imlil — the starting point of Mount Toubkal and most of our treks. From here you can rent everything you need: crampons, ice axes, trekking poles, warm winter jackets, mountain boots, and more. No need to carry heavy kit from home — we have you covered from the moment you arrive in the valley.

Every message, every itinerary, every welcome in Imlil comes from me personally. This is my home, and I want you to experience it the way locals do — honestly, warmly, and without shortcuts.
