A huge thank you to our guide Youssef for his professionalism and kindness throughout the Toubkal climb. Always attentive, he regularly checked on us and shared his knowledge of the region and Berber culture, which made the experience even more enriching. During the final climb, he had the excellent idea of ​​asking the cook to accompany us so that everyone could progress at their own pace. Thanks to this attention, I was able to attempt this last climb, even though the day before had been very difficult for me. Without him, I probably would never have dared. We had the most amazing trip with Toubkal Explorers. Our guide, Youssef, did not only safely get us to the summit, he also shared so many fascinating insights about the culture and history of the region. Youssef’s passion for the landscape and traditions of the Atlas was so inspiring on our long trek towards the summit. Slowly but surely he motivated us onwards. The tanjines offered along the way were delicious. Our guide was kind, caring and super helpful when we faced these tiny challenges along the way (fixing broken torch, finding someone who would lend us some much needed painkillers). He’s so well connected and respected in the community that anything can be managed within a couple minutes. We hope to come back to the Atlas and Jbel Toubkal - and will definitely book with Toubkal Explorers again. Highly recommended.

I had the most amazing time. Youssef has been the  best guide. It is not a walk in the park, but so worth it. Amazing sense of achievement, gorgeous scenary, delicious food, and a fantastic group of people.

An amazing experience and all due to Yusuf's kindness, professionalism, and local knowledge of the region and indigenous Amazigh community in which he grew up. The food was fantastic, the group interesting and diverse (Moroccan 🇲🇦, Italians  🇮🇹, South African 🇿🇦, Russian 🇷🇺), and of all fitness levels. Yusuf is also super well connected and can figure out a solution to any need or want. Whether you decide you cannot make it back without a mule, want your bag carried from halfway up, or want a taxi to pick you up from the village and save yourself a couple of kms back to Imlil. Everything with honesty and never an attempt to try and extract any extra money from tourists. Also English is perfect! Highly recommend, an snagging unforgettable experience

Awesome day trip with Youssef from Imlil up to the summit of Tedli Atlas. Amazing views of the Atlas Mountains, loved walking through small hamlets, seeing authentic Berber way of living, and hearing stories from a local guide who grew up in a mountain village. Excellent traditional tagine lunch. Would go back in a heartbeat to do more challenging hike up Toubkal.
