Itinerary

Day 1:

Marrakech – Imlil (1,740m) – Ait Souka – Tizi n’Tamatert (2,300m) – Armed (1,900m) – Imlil Waterfalls – Marrakech Your day begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech at 9:00 AM. After a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, you arrive in Imlil, where you meet your local guide from Atlas Toubkal Trek.

The hike starts through walnut groves and Berber villages, passing Ait Souka before ascending toward Tizi n’Tamatert, one of the most scenic viewpoints above the valley. From the pass, the trail turns left and descends toward Armed, the highest village in the Imlil Valley, offering beautiful views of Mount Toubkal, terraced fields, and traditional stone houses.

Lunch is served in a traditional Berber home in Armed village, where you can experience local hospitality and authentic mountain cuisine. After lunch, the descent continues back toward Imlil through the beautiful Imlil waterfalls before returning to the village center. Your transport then takes you back to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon.
