4-Day Atlas Mountains Trek from Marrakech – Imlil, Imnan & Azzaden Valleys

Marrakech – Matat – Azzaden Valley – Tizi Oussem Village Your adventure begins with an 8:30 AM pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to the village of Matat. Here, you will meet your local guide, mule team, and cook before starting your trek through traditional Berber villages and mountain trails. After a freshly prepared lunch along the route, continue into the beautiful Azzaden Valley. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and terraced fields, you arrive at the village of Tizi Oussem, where you will spend the night in a traditional guesthouse. Walking time: 5–6 hours

Tizi Oussem – Tizi n'Mzik (2,480m) – Imlil Valley – Armed Village After breakfast, begin the ascent towards Tizi n'Mzik Pass (2,480m), one of the finest viewpoints in the High Atlas Mountains. From the pass, enjoy panoramic views over the Imlil Valley and surrounding peaks. After lunch, descend through mountain trails and pass the famous Imlil Waterfalls before reaching Armed, the highest village in the Imlil Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a local guesthouse. Walking time: 5–6 hours

Armed Village – Tizi n'Tamatert – Imnane Valley – Tamgaist Village Following breakfast, depart at 9:00 AM towards the beautiful Imnane Valley. The trail climbs steadily to Tizi n'Tamatert Pass, offering magnificent views over both the Imlil and Imnane valleys. After a tea break and lunch at the pass, continue through authentic Berber villages and mountain landscapes before reaching Tamguiste village. Overnight in a traditional guesthouse in the heart of the valley. Walking time: 6–7 hours

Tamguiste – Aghersioual – Marrakech After breakfast, enjoy the final stage of the trek as you follow ancient mountain paths through the Imnane Valley towards Aghersioual. This scenic route completes a circular journey through three of the most beautiful valleys of the High Atlas Mountains: Azzaden, Imlil, and Imnane. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer back to Marrakech. Walking time: 4–5 hours
