Itinerary

Day 1:

Marrakech – Imlil – Sidi Chamharouch – Toubkal Refuge (3,200m) Your adventure begins with an 8:00 AM pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. After a scenic drive to Imlil (1,740m), you will meet your local mountain guide and mule team. The trek follows the beautiful Ait Mizane Valley to Sidi Chamharouch (2,400m), where lunch is served. Continue ascending to the Toubkal Refuge (3,200m), your base for the night before summit day. Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge. Walking time: 5–6 hours

Day 2:

Mount Toubkal Summit (4,167m) – Imlil – Marrakech Begin before sunrise for the ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa. From the summit, enjoy spectacular views over the High Atlas Mountains, Anti-Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara Desert. Descend to the refuge for lunch before continuing down to Imlil. Meet your driver and transfer back to Marrakech for an overnight stay. Walking time: 8–10 hours

Day 3:

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley After breakfast, depart Marrakech and travel across the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah before continuing through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. Arrive in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight accommodation. Driving time: 7–8 hours

Day 4:

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Sahara Desert Travel through some of Morocco's most dramatic landscapes towards the Sahara Desert. Stop at Todra Gorge before continuing to Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a magical desert sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp beneath the stars. Driving time: 5–6 hours

Day 5:

Merzouga – Marrakech Wake early to witness sunrise over the Sahara Desert before breakfast. Begin the return journey to Marrakech through changing desert and mountain landscapes. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the evening. Driving time: 8–9 hours
